I started my tax and accounting profession with Faler & Associates, PC in January 2005.  While working in a small CPA firm, my work experience with clients has covered many tax and accounting projects. Having a diverse business experience lends itself to consulting with clients on their day-to-day business decisions and other strategic issues. My industrial expertise covers real estate including construction, development, commercial rentals, realtors, and real estate appraisers; timber; adult foster care and child foster care; restaurants; and produce markets. Understanding of the rental market includes personal experience managing my own rentals. Additionally, I have been involved in multiple IRS and Oregon Department of Revenue interactions including correspondence, penalty abatements, audits, and appeals support.

Working with Brenner & Company, LLP, from January 2014 to January 2018, I experienced the freedom to continue to expand my career working with many clients in varying professions.  Presentations to Adult Foster Care Home providers and Realtor groups and organizations are continued outreach projects I feel are very important to help educate folks in unique tax and accounting areas of the law.

As of February 2018, I am excited to have started my own CPA firm: NW Premier Accounting.  With the freedom to continue to provide a high level of service to clients, I am excited about being able to reach more people in need.

Married to my beautiful wife, Brandy, since September 2005; we have four very active children who keep us involved with youth sports and other community activities throughout the mid-Valley.  Having grown up in the Northwest, whether hiking with my family or coaching my kids’ soccer teams, I enjoy it best in the rain! Coaching and teaching soccer to youth is a personal passion I have been able to share with my Monmouth/Salem community.  Other hobbies and recreational interests include working out, camping, fishing, and listening to bluegrass and Celtic music.
